Please find attached Commissioning Checklist please fill this in and return it to us 48hrs prior to the day of the commissioning. The Checklist is an important part of the commissioning process as it gives you the installer the details of what you need to have completed for the commissioning to be finished successfully and lets us know that the site is ready to be commissioned.
Please note that we are advising all customers that a technician will not be sent to the commissioning site until the Check List has been returned.
Note: A qualified electrical contractor should be engaged to confirm answers to questions below.
If the site is not ready for the commissioning as nominated by you on the commissioning checklist, a minimum charge of $380.00 + GST will be invoiced to cover lost time, wages, travel +vehicle expenses, and the re-organisation of other works for the Technician for that day. This is not negotiable. This charge will be additional to the original quoted commissioning charges. If the commissioning is required in a regional area all costs will be passed on by General Pump Company. Should you request that General Pump Company Technician(s) remain onsite to perform all works possible in the event that the site isn't ready for commissioning, charges will be forwarded at the applicable General Pump Company hourly rates in addition to the original commissioning charge. Please also note that bookings require a 5-day minimum notification.
To help you and your client General Pump Company can provide you with a pre-commissioning inspection for $195.00 + GST (City Metro) to ensure that you are ready for commissioning. Please call our Office on 1300 662 787 to secure a pre-commissioning inspection.
Notes: General Pump Company allows up to1 hour for site inductions only. Additional time will be charged in accordance with the applicable General Pump Company's labour rates.
